The Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana is TAG Heuer’s latest timepiece. The limited-edition watch is another in the long list of collaborations between Porche and TAG. It celebrates the rich history of both companies.
The watch highlights their deep connection to the world of motorsport and the legendary Carrera Panamericana race. It honors the 70th anniversary of Porsche’s victories in the iconic race and reflects the shared legacy of precision, speed, and craftsmanship between the two brands.
The Carrera Panamericana was one of motorsport's most challenging and thrilling races. It spanned over 3,000 kilometers across Mexico, pushing drivers and their machines to the limit. The route also went through harsh terrain and extreme conditions.

In 1954, the Porsche 550 Spyder claimed first and second place in its class and made a mark on Porsche's racing legacy. This victory laid the groundwork for Porsche’s future success in endurance racing and solidified its reputation for engineering excellence.
This remarkable feat is a key inspiration behind the new Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon. The timepiece captures the daring spirit of the Carrera Panamericana.
The watch's Porsche 550 Spyder inspiration is evident in almost every design detail. From its skeleton dial to its bold color scheme, there are elements that reflect the look and feel of the historic racecar. The watch's silver, yellow, and black colors echo the livery of the Porsche 550 Spyder, with the yellow lacquered hands adding a distinctive touch.

The skeleton dial, with its detailed design, mimics the wheels of the 550 Spyder, while the shimmering effect on the dial plate and subdials evokes the bodywork of the classic racecar. The grained texture on the skeleton dial further enhances the connection to motorsport by symbolizing the asphalt of the racetrack.
The watch has a 42mm stainless steel case crafted with alternating brushed and polished finishes. These give it a sleek yet rugged appearance. The other side of the case has an engraved 'Spyder' logo in the same font used by Porsche in the 1950s.

Additionally, the watch features a domed sapphire Glassbox crystal designed to resemble the hesalite crystals from the 1970s. This ensures easy readability of the indications on the dial's edge. The Porsche logo is also elegantly displayed on the flange, while the marking of 'Panamericana' at the six o'clock position is a subtle nod to the legendary race.
The timepiece is powered by the TH20-09 tourbillon movement. Its 65-hour power reserve ensures long-lasting performance, even in demanding conditions. The movement provides precision and reflects the synergy between TAG Heuer’s horological craftsmanship and Porsche’s automotive engineering.

The tourbillon is located at the six o'clock position. Always the main highlight of any watch that contains one, it showcases the intricate mechanics of the timepiece. Visible through the sapphire caseback is a special Porsche steering wheel mass, a design element that has become a hallmark of the TAG Heuer x Porsche collaboration.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana is limited to just 255 pieces. The number '255' is a tribute to the Porsche 550 Spyder, which wore the number 55 during its victorious run in the 1954 Carrera Panamericana.
Further highlighting its rarity, each watch is individually numbered, and has a special engraving that reads 'LIMITED EDITION'. The luxurious packaging for this timepiece also adds to its appeal. Each watch comes in a lacquered wooden box in black, with personalized touches in the yellow Pantone color that mirrors the design of the watch.
