If you like high-performance cars, you’ll agree that a scenic drive is one of the most exhilarating activities you can indulge in. There’s something about driving through incredible landscapes and appreciating beautiful vistas, whether everything in sight is all-natural or includes man-made structures.
Many incredible scenic drives have been featured on different car shows in multiple countries, and local car clubs organize scenic drives as a way for members of the community to bond while they enjoy their common interest: high-performance cars.
Bentley introduced its ‘Extraordinary Journeys’ selection of scenic drives in 2023 as a way for existing and potential Bentley owners to enjoy Bentley cars while taking in the vistas along some of the most incredible scenic roads in the world. Selecting the United Kindom, New Mexico, and Scandinavia at the start, the project aims to bring like minds together under the Bentley umbrella.

The program offers a full concierge service, so in addition to driving, iconic 5-star hotel accommodation and fine-dining experiences are arranged for the participants at carefully chosen locations to ensure an unforgettable experience.
The 2024 United Kingdom experience takes participants through some incredible sights over the course of five days. The experience starts from Bentley’s Crewe Cheshire showroom, where guests are welcomed and given a tour of the production line. Following the tour, all guests are treated to private dining in the factory.
The journey starts on day two with participants driving in a convoy of the latest models of the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga through Peak District National Park, the ‘Dark Peak’ region, and ending the day in the prestigious Grantley Hall Hotel in Yorkshire.

Over the next few days, the scenic drive goes through Northumberland National Park and abbeys with some incredible stately homes and castles. Other stopovers include The Treehouses at Lanrick, where a chef will treat everyone to a sumptuous meal. The journey also goes through The Cairngorms, a mountain range in eastern Scotland’s highlands, Britain’s largest national park.
Stopovers in Scotland include the Fife Arms in Braemar and the Macallan Estate in the Speyside countryside. Guests will have an opportunity for tutored tasting and a private distillery experience at Macallan’s distillery.
The journey concludes with fine dining at Elchies Brasserie and a nightcap. The following morning, guests are chauffeured to the airport for the journey home after what is likely to be a very memorable experience.
