Monterey Car Week 2024 promises to be an electrifying event for automotive enthusiasts. It'll once again feature its signature glamour and the unveiling of some very special cars.
One of the most anticipated highlights of this prestigious gathering is the world premiere of Maserati's latest creation, a super sports car derived from the MC20.
On Friday, August 16, at 'The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering', Maserati will introduce this new super sports car, embodying the brand's racing heritage and technological prowess.
This event, known for its exclusive atmosphere and elite audience, is the perfect setting for showcasing Maserati's latest marvel. Attendees can expect a car that promises extraordinary performance on both track and road, featuring cutting-edge technology and advanced aerodynamics.

The new super sports car is expected to further cement Maserati's dedication to high performance and innovation. It inherits the racing spirit of the Maserati GT2 and represents an evolution of the MC20 with the distinctive V6 Nettuno engine.
While details on the new car are still light, it's likely to generate as much excitement as the MCXtrema/ target="_black">MCXtrema from the 2023 event.
The MC20 project, envisioned from the outset for both track and road cars, combines technological know-how and shared components to deliver unparalleled driving experiences.
This new car is designed, developed, and produced entirely in Italy, ensuring it meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and performance. It features an unmistakable aesthetic with a wide range of customization options.
The world premiere will be introduced by Giovanni Perosino, Maserati's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and Klaus Busse, Head of Design.

The event at The Quail will also feature the MC20 Icona and MCXtrema. The Icona, inspired by the 2004 MC12 Stradale, will make its North American debut.
Fortloc is excited to cover different Maserati events during the 2024 Monterey Car Week. That includes at least one interview with one of the Maserati executives coming in From Modena, Italy.
We'll also have a first drive in one of Maserati's recently announced tourers. Which one? You'll have to wait and see. The MCXtrema stole the show at The Quail last year (okay, the Blackbird/ target="_black">Blackbird made a strong case too). Let's see if the new car will grab all the attention this year.
