Any car enthusiast will tell you that glancing at the photographs of the striking new Nilu hypercar triggers various emotions and a lot of excitement. It's hard to ignore the bold design of the car that's likely to keep people talking for some time.
The Nilu, developed by industry newcomer Nilu27, is a hypercar that seeks to make a statement with an authentic design you can't claim looks like any other car on the market.
The car is the brainchild of Sasha Selipanov, who is no stranger to supercar/hypercar design. He previously worked on the exterior design of the Bugatti Chiron and the Lamborghini Huracan.

Details are light on the motivation for starting a car company, but one can speculate that it was perhaps time for him to unleash his design prowess without limitations.
The company's press release stated that they intend to introduce 'an extraordinary vehicle lineup' in the next 10 years, so there's plenty to be excited about.
In addition to its noteworthy exterior design, the company elected to deviate from the hybrid/fully electric powertrains chosen by many hypercar companies. Instead of jumping on the bandwagon, the heart of the Nilu is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter 80-degree V12 engine. The engine was developed in collaboration with Hartley Engine, a company based in New Zealand.

In addition to choosing a combustion engine, Nile27 made things more interesting by pairing the engine with a seven-speed manual transmission. That's likely to get all purists of the world to salivate over what's possible with the automobile.
To add a bit of gravy to the already compelling offering, the engine is visible from the back of the car. The heavenly 3D-printed exhaust pipes, finished in white look drool-worthy. Combined with the V12, it will likely generate a melody that rivals a Beethoven masterpiece. Still, maybe it's best to wait and see.
The V12 engine delivers 1070hp and 634 ft-lbs, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds and attain a top speed of 250mph. The engine's power is complemented by the car's advanced suspension and braking system, which includes Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.

The Nilu features a low, aggressive profile that is as functional as it is visually striking. It comes across as a showstopping prototype car out of the Grand Turismo video game. Speaking of video games, the company stated that the car will be featured in an upcoming version of Zynga's mobile game, CSR Racing 2, so those who don't buy one won't feel entirely left out.
The lightweight construction, utilizing carbon fiber and an aluminum alloy, should contribute to the car's agility, allowing it to perform with exceptional efficiency.
Inside the Nilu, the cabin is understated. Taking inspiration from the '60s F1 and Le Mans race cars, the Nilu seeks to deliver an unfiltered driving experience by ignoring digitization. Offering analog instrumentation on the dashboard, a gated shifter, and low-profile seats, it's a bit of a contrast to the futuristic look of the exterior.

The car is set to be revealed at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week. Only 15 examples will be made. While pricing information wasn't made available, it shouldn't be a surprise if all 15 are spoken for by the time it's revealed at Pebble Beach.
