Stepping into the posh Pan Pacific London, it was clear this wasn't just another hotel—it was a sanctuary of sleek sophistication. As I walked through the revolving doors, I couldn't help but immediately look up at the vast ceilings.
The sky-high open windows beamed with natural light, like something out of a design magazine, effortlessly blending modern elegance with British charm. Even their tea lounge was within view.
The check-in was a breeze, thanks to their top-notch staff, who could probably predict my next move before I could. Once upstairs on the 18th floor, I found my room was adorned with plush furnishings and a panoramic view that included the stunning and iconic Gherkin building.

As I scanned the room, my guest services attendant was ever so gracious and made sure to highlight all the amenities, including a beautiful teapot that decorated my wine bar. I was in a sophisticated British haven amidst the urban bustle.
Straits Kitchen is a beautiful 'home in a hotel' – rather than a restaurant. It is devoted to bringing multicultural Singapore to London.

Before heading out to town right before noon, I jumped in for a quick lunch, what they call their express power lunch. The menu is a small plate and a signature dish, it was speedy but did not in any way compromise on taste.
Every bite there feels like a culinary masterpiece crafted by a Michelin magician. The restaurant also has absolutely impeccable service, and they are always catering to the refined palates of discerning travelers. Later, I just had to try their afternoon tea experience.
One of the highlights? Definitely the Orchid Lounge's afternoon tea. The Orchid Lounge offers a delightful afternoon tea experience. Imagine sinking into plush chairs while savoring delicate pastries and aromatic teas that could make even the king nod in approval.

All served in beautiful fine china, Pan Pacific London's seasonal afternoon tea collection is a delightful fusion of Asian flavors and British tradition that's a true standout in London. Imagine Singaporean-inspired delights like bao, dim sum, and choux, adding an exotic twist to your classic British Afternoon Tea experience if you so choose. I went for the traditional delights afternoon tea with British Tea Sandwiches, but I loved having the option to go Asian fusion!
It has three courses. The first course offered a choice between Asian savories or English Tea Sandwiches, the second course - Scones, and the third course, a selection of handmade pastries.

Picture yourself seated with a selection of beautiful gourmet bites and the finest teas from the Rare Tea Company, all expertly introduced by a dedicated Tea Connoisseur. And for those celebrating in style, you can even indulge in Champagne and renowned English Sparkling Wines, including the prestigious Nyetimber.
I wasn't initially a tea aficionado - but consider me a convert. This chic and sophisticated afternoon tea experience in the heart of London is an absolute must!

Oh, the dining options! If you're like me, you love fine dining! Picture this: not one, not two, but three luxurious dining rooms to choose from. Maxwell is the star of the show, hosting up to 50 guests in style.
With its floor-to-ceiling windows letting in floods of natural light and offering killer views of the Plaza, it's like dining in a postcard. Plus, they've got all the bells and whistles—a Champagne wall, built-in audio system, and even a glass door for that touch of exclusivity.
If you're in the mood for something more intimate, Newton is the place for you. Think cozy vibes with dark wooden walls and a marble statement piece that's as chic as it gets. It's perfect for a close-knit gathering of up to 12, where every seat feels like it's at the chef's table. They've nailed that intimate dinner party feel.
And let's not forget Katong—where natural light floods through those floor-to-ceiling windows, making any social gathering of up to 15 guests feel like a breath of fresh air. Whether you're brunching or dining under the stars, Katong sets the scene perfectly.
So, whether you're planning a big bash, an intimate night out, or a casual outing with friends, Pan Pacific London's got the private dining game on lock. It's where convenience meets luxury, and every meal feels like a celebration. Cheers to that!

Picture yourself taking a dip in their swanky 18.5m infinity pool—and it's not just any pool; it comes with killer city views that'll make your Instagram followers jealous! Plus, they have an exquisite sauna and steam room, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring London's vibrant streets. Trust me, they're the ultimate chill-out zones to unwind and rejuvenate.
