As electric water toys continue to gather momentum, LIND, an innovative designer and manufacturer of electric surfboards, is set to literally make waves. LIND launched its boards at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival with its unique approach to combining traditional surfboard craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.
As part of the launch, LIND revealed its limited-edition series of custom art boards in collaboration with contemporary artists and board shapers. These boards are part of the brand's exhibition titled 'A New Way to Play', which will tour globally through the end of 2024.
The exhibition's theme celebrates imagination, individualism, and the fusion of art and technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of watersports. Following its debut in Cannes, the exhibition traveled to the Monaco Yacht Show. Later, it will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and Miami Art Week in December.

LIND's concept of merging art and surfing is at the core of its 'A New Way to Play' exhibition. The company has collaborated with 12 artists and shapers to create unique, custom boards that reflect creativity and innovation.
Each board is crafted to represent the theme of improvisation, fun, and individualism, encouraging visitors to explore new forms of expression on the water. Works by artists such as Terry Urban and Jessica Kayll are displayed alongside the boards to offer a fresh perspective on how surfing can be intertwined with visual art.

Designed and engineered entirely in-house, the LIND Canvas is tool-less and fully modular, offering a seamless surfing experience for riders of all skill levels. Weighing just 7 kilograms (15 pounds), the board is easy to carry and can be set up in just 15 seconds. Its 27-horsepower drivetrain allows the board to reach top speeds of 60 km/h, making it one of the most powerful electric surfboards on the market.
The custom-designed battery is optimized for weight, durability, and corrosion resistance. Charging is quick and efficient, with a full charge taking just two hours with a standard 120-volt US outlet or one hour with a 230-volt outlet.
